These wind turbines add to those <a href=\"https:\/\/www.qair.energy\/en\/blog\/2020\/12\/11\/in-brazil-solar-and-wind-complex-enters-the-commissioning-phase\/\">already in service in the park<\/a>. Owned by Qair Brasil, they are located in Trairi, approximately 78.9 miles away from Fortaleza, the capital city of Cear\u00e1.<\/p>\n<p>4,2 MW UG3 production units were approved for EOL Serrote III wind power plant.\u00a0 4,2 MW UG1, UG2, UG3, UG5, and UG6 units were released for EOL Serrote V. Together, the six new turbines have an added capacity of 25.2 MW.<\/p>\n<p>Ultimately, the Serrote hybrid solar and wind park will consist of a total of 49 turbines, with an overall capacity of 205 MW. All units were built in collaboration with Danish wind turbine manufacturer Vestas.<\/p>\n<p>This partnership between Qair and Vestas in Brazil will also lead to the development of another 160 MW, to be installed at the Afonso Bezerra Wind Complex, in the counties of Macau and Afonso Bezerra, in Rio Grande do Norte.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>The Brazilian National Electric Energy Agency (Aneel) has cleared the commercial operation of six new wind turbines on the EOL Serrote solar and wind park.
