The contracts provide for the off-take of electricity from Qair Polska’s wind and solar power plants<\/h2>\n

Wroc\u0142aw – March 21, 2023 <\/strong>–<\/strong> Independent renewable energy producer Qair announces the signing of a power sales contract with a multinational corporation holding manufacturing facilities in Poland and employing nearly 10,000 people.<\/p>\n

The physical Power Purchase Agreement (PPA) will provide for the supply of energy from a recently commissioned wind farm and a photovoltaic power station, the construction of which . The size of the contract has been adjusted to the industrial’s requirements and is one of the largest corporate PPAs on the RES market in Poland. Qair will deliver 2 TWh of green energy over the course of the contract.<\/p>\n

\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n

– At Qair we understand that energy security for companies has never been more important than it is at the moment. We are pursuing our strategic objectives:\u00a0 we have started 2022 with a mission to support businesses in their quest for energy independence and energy price stability. Large entities are our target group: industry leaders with products and services used by millions of people in Poland. This is how we can indirectly mitigate the effects of inflation. The share of cPPA energy sales from our portfolio will dynamically increase in the following years. We are negotiating further contracts with leading brands that will increase our cPPA portfolio to over 5TWh. \u2013 <\/strong><\/em>says Krzysztof Wojtysiak, CEO at Qair Polska.<\/strong><\/p>\n

The wind farms from which the contracted energy will be sourced have reached operational status and have been granted a license to generate electricity in 2022. This will be Qair\u2019s first project to be implemented on a commercial basis outside the auction system in Poland.<\/p>\n
